Educational Background
I attended Terre Town Elementary, Otter Creek Middle School and then moved on to graduate from Terre Haute North High School. After High School I went on to attend Indiana State University. I graduated with a degree in Social Studies Education, with an emphasis in United States History, World History, Economics and Government and am also licensed to teach middle school math. I did my student teaching at Woodrow Wilson Middle School and West Vigo High School.
Professional History
During the 2012-2013 school year I was a long term substitute special education math teacher at Terre Haute North High School.I have been teaching at Woodrow Wilson since 2013. I taught 7th grade math for 5 years and am now teaching 8th grade U.S. History. Before teaching, I worked at Carosi’s Italian Restaurant, as a server and a manager.
Personal Information
I was born and raised in Terre Haute Indiana and have lived here my whole life. I played basketball and tennis at North High School. I was also involved in Counterpoints and the school musicals while at North. I was the Carl S Riddle award winner my senior year of high school and I was also the senior class president. I am currently coaching boys tennis, sixth grade girls track and sixth grade girls basketball. I am one of the 8th grade team leaders.
