I graduated from Terre Haute North High School in 2003. I attended Purdue University for two years where I majored in Biochemistry while playing as a part of the Purdue Symphony Orchestra. Deciding that biochemistry was not what I wanted to do the rest of my life I switched to the second passion of mine, music. I then attended Indiana State University for five years where I majored in Music Education.
I taught Pre-K-8th grade general music for two years at St. Patrick’s School here in Terre Haute before coming to Woodrow Wilson. I started teaching at Woodrow Wilson in 2013 as the General Music and Strings teacher.
I am a native of the Terre Haute area and went to Vigo County throughout my scholastic career. I met my wife while a sophomore at Terre Haute North and we were married in 2009. We welcomed our first child into the world on December 10, 2013 and our second child on July 18th, 2018. I keep very active in the music world. I am involved in a professional string quartet, The IV Cords String Quartet, as well as playing with the Terre Haute Sinfonietta Orchestra.
