Educational Background

I graduated from Terre Haute North High School in 2003. I attended Purdue University for two years where I majored in Biochemistry while playing as a part of the Purdue Symphony Orchestra. Deciding that biochemistry was not what I wanted to do the rest of my life I switched to the second passion of mine, music. I then attended Indiana State University for five years where I majored in Music Education. In December of 2023 I completed my Master’s of Science in Educational Technology with a certification in Instructional Design.

Professional History

I taught Pre-K-8th grade general music for two years at St. Patrick’s School here in Terre Haute before coming to Woodrow Wilson. I started teaching at Woodrow Wilson in 2013 as the General Music and Strings teacher.
