About Mr. Higham
Educational Background
I was born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana. I attended Lost Creek, Woodrow Wilson, and Terre Haute North. After high school, I enrolled at Indiana State University and majored in Social Studies Education. I graduated from Indiana State in the spring of 2000 with an education degree and received my first teaching position in the fall of that year at Woodrow Wilson.
Professional History
I have been teaching 8th grade U.S. History since 2005. Prior to that, I taught 6th grade World History.
Personal Information
I am married and have a daughter (Mallory) and a son (Parker). In my free time I enjoy traveling, playing golf, and spending time with my family. In addition, I am an IU basketball and Cincinnati Reds baseball fan.
