Who is Miss Jennings?

Hello! My name is Alexandra Jennings and I teach 6-8th Grade Special Education Language Arts!

Education:

  • Special Education Bachelors Degree from Indiana State University (2015-2019)
  • Teaching and Learning Masters Degree from Indiana State University (2019-2020)

Teaching:

I have been teaching at Woodrow Wilson since August 2020!  In the Spring of 2019, I first came to Woodrow Wilson as a student teacher for Mrs. Titus! I loved it so much here that I decided to come back for the 2019-2020 school year as an Education Assistant and Long Term substitute! Once I finished my college career as a golfer and my Master’s Degree, I decided to stay and work at Woodrow Wilson as a teacher! My first year at Woodrow Wilson, I taught 8th Grade Special Education ELA and Mixed Grade Special Education Social Studies! Going into my second teaching year at Woodrow Wilson, I will be teaching 6-8th grade SPED Language Arts.

A Little About Me:

I am originally from Wichita, Kansas and I moved to Terre Haute in the Fall of 2015 to start my college golf career and begin learning to become a teacher! Growing up, I played many sports (volleyball, basketball, golf, track, and softball)! My family loved watching and playing sports! Playing board and card games are a hobby of mine. I am currently learning how to play 2K and Madden! When I am not playing games, you can catch me playing with my cat, Pepper, or reading a book! Each year I try to read more books from the previous year! How many books do you read in a year?
