          Parent Involvement<\/h5>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css_animation=”none”]The Patriot Academic Booster Club\u2019s mission is to help students achieve academic success thru the support of parents\/guardians, teachers, and administration. The PABC is the primary support group for North\u2019s academic teams, such as Super Bowl, Math, Science, English and Social Studies, which in past years have participated in State Competitions.\u00a0 The PABC covers the cost of the entrance fees, buses and food for the students to travel to these events.<\/p>\n

One of the goals is that the curriculum will be adjusted to continue to meet the changing needs of all students.           Safety<\/strong><\/h5>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css_animation=”none”]The Vigo County School Corporation has endeavored to provide safe school environments in all schools. An emphasis on prevention, intervention and crisis response has taken place in our schools. Prevention of school violence includes education and counseling as appropriate. All schools have a crisis plan and a plan for intervention when necessary. Crisis response includes the development and implementation of crisis plans specific to the school site as well as having general guidelines for the entire school corporation. Periodic meetings between school administration and law enforcement and prosecutor and emergency responders take place to improve school safety.<\/p>\n

          Safe schools are one of the six goals of VCSC.           In 1971 students from Garfield High School, Otter Creek High School and Gerstmeyer Technical School all became the first Terre Haute North Patriots<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css_animation=”none”]\n
