Good, Good Evening Sarah Scott Family,<\/p>\n

This is your principal, Scotia Brown, with your Scottie Burst\u00a0 for the week of September 26th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

A big \u201cThank You\u201d goes out to the parents of our boy\u2019s tennis team for all of their efforts for the parent\/student tennis match.\u00a0 If you weren\u2019t\u00a0 there, you should have seen it. \u00a0Our parents brought their skills and took on our boy\u2019s tennis team.\u00a0 We had a great time\u2026and some great food!<\/p>\n

This week is County Week as\u00a0we\u00a0celebrate our athletic teams going to county.\u00a0 \u00a0We hope all of our Scotties will join us for Spirit Week.<\/p>\n

We start on Monday.\u00a0 All of our Scotties are asked to wear our school colors of orange, black and white.<\/p>\n

Tuesday is Crazy Hair Day.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, let\u2019s see how much neon you can wear, as we celebrate \u201cNeon Day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thursday is Squad Day.\u00a0 Get together with you and your friends and\u00a0 dress up for \u201cSquad Day\u201d<\/p>\n

Friday, we get comfy with \u201cPJ Day.\u201d\u00a0 Be sure to wear school appropriate pajamas.<\/p>\n

We hope you will come out and support our teams for these events:<\/p>\n

Monday, the boy\u2019s tennis team will travel to West Vigo for a match.<\/p>\n

Also, on Monday, the girls\u2019 volleyballs teams will be on the road.\u00a0 Our JV and varsity team will kick off their county competition at Otter Creek Middle School.<\/p>\n

Tuesday, the boy\u2019s tennis teams keep their hopes of victory alive, in their match against Honey Creek Middle School.\u00a0 This match will take place at Honey Creek.<\/p>\n

Join us Wednesday at the LaVern Gibson Cross County Course as our Scotties compete for the championship.<\/p>\n

Our girls\u2019 volleyball teams will continue their quest for the county win, on Wednesday, at Honey Creek Middle School.<\/p>\n

If our girls win on Wednesday, they will continue the quest for the victory, on Thursday, for the final county match.\u00a0 Again, the final county volleyball match will be on Thursday at Terre Haute South.<\/p>\n

Our boy\u2019s tennis teams will wrap up county week on Friday, as they go for\u00a0 the victory on at Terre Haute South and Rae Park.<\/p>\n

We are wishing all of our teams well!\u00a0 All athletic events begin at 5:00.\u00a0 Visitors are expected to mask for all indoor events.<\/p>\n

Parents, we are having a basket raffle.\u00a0 We have some great baskets for you.\u00a0 You can check out the baskets on our Facebook page.\u00a0 Raffle tickets are $1.00 each or 10 tickets for $5.00.\u00a0 You can purchase your tickets in the front office or at the event. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, October 5th<\/sup> at our\u00a0\u201cBooks, Bingo and Baskets\u201d.\u00a0 We would like to have you join us on Tuesday, October 5th<\/sup> for \u201cBooks, Bingo and Baskets.\u201d\u00a0 Come out and enjoy playing bingo, winning books for your Scottie and winning a basket!\u00a0 Light refreshments will be served.<\/p>\n

Parents, just a reminder that you can be notified of your Scotties progress in his\/her classes.\u00a0 Skyward will email notifications to emails for classes\/assignments that are less than 73%.\u00a0 In order to set this up, log into Skyward, click on Family Access, My Account at the top and check the box for \u201cReceive Progress Report Emails for my students\u201d.\u00a0 You can receive notifications Daily, Weekly or Monthly.\u00a0 This is a great way for you to stay informed on your students\u2019 progress.<\/p>\n
