Good, Good Evening Sarah Scott Family,<\/p>\n

This is your principal, Scotia Brown, with your Scottie Burst for the week of August 15th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Tomorrow is the big day!\u00a0 Tomorrow we will welcome our Scotties back for the 2021-2022 school year.\u00a0 And we are so excited! Here is some important information for you:<\/p>\n

Scotties, get those Chromebooks out and get them charged!\u00a0 If you have lost your charger, you can purchase one in the main office.\u00a0 The cost for a charger is $27.00.\u00a0 If you have lost your Chromebook, the cost for a replacement is $300.00.<\/p>\n

All students will enter through Door #19 and go to the gym.\u00a0 Drivers are not permitted to pass the school bus\u00a0on the school parking lot.\u00a0 Cars are asked to remain in a single line to prevent accidents.<\/p>\n

All students are to come into the building wearing masks.<\/p>\n

Students will need to have a water bottle to drink from.<\/p>\n

Breakfast and lunch will be free for all students this year.<\/p>\n

Please go to myschoolapps.com<\/a> and complete the form for free and reduced book fees.<\/p>\n

If you haven\u2019t had a chance yet, please log into Skyward and update your Scotties enrollment.\u00a0 You can find those forms in Skyward, under family access.\u00a0 We are announcing the winners of our drawing on Wednesday.\u00a0 The winners will receive dinner for the family at Texas Roadhouse.\u00a0 The winners will be drawn from everyone who has completed their student\u2019s online enrollment information.<\/p>\n

If you need to have your password or username reset, please call the school and ask for Miss O.\u00a0 She will be glad to assist you.<\/p>\n

If you have moved over the summer, the state now requires that we have proof of your new address.\u00a0 Some of the items you can use for proof of address would be any utility bill, in your name, rental agreements or a picture ID.\u00a0 We cannot approve the update, without this proof.\u00a0 Again, if you have any questions, call the school.<\/p>\n

For all of our athletes, we need you on our teams!\u00a0 Monday, we will begin tryouts for boy\u2019s 6th<\/sup>, 7th<\/sup> and 8th<\/sup> grade tennis, girl\u2019s junior varsity and varsity tennis, cross country and dance.\u00a0 Practice and tryouts will begin immediately after school on Monday.\u00a0 In order to participate, you must have a completed physical form on file.\u00a0 We are having a Sports\u2019 physical clinic on Thursday from 4:15 to 6:30, in the cafeteria.\u00a0 This clinic is free to all of our Scotties.\u00a0 Get your physical and get on one of the teams.\u00a0 You\u2019ll have a great time!<\/p>\n
