This is your principal, Scotia Brown, with your Scottie burst for the week of May 9th<\/sup>.\u00a0 To all of our Mothers, Happy Mother\u2019s Day to you!\u00a0 We are coming to the end of this school year, but there is so much left to do, so let\u2019s get started with our announcements for this week.\u00a0 Here we go!<\/p>\n Scotties, Camp Curiosity is the place to be June 1st<\/sup> thru June 18th<\/sup>!\u00a0 Camp Curiosity is open to all incoming 6th<\/sup> graders and next years 7th<\/sup> and 8th<\/sup> graders.\u00a0 We will have a lot of fun activities like Crazy Science, The Egg Drop, Math Magic, cooking, music, art and so much more!\u00a0 Camp Curiosity will be held 8:00 to 12:00.\u00a0 Breakfast, lunch and transportation are provided.\u00a0 You can sign up on the Sarah Scott website. Hurry and sign up, because we only have we only have space for 50 Scotties.<\/p>\n It’s County Week for our tennis team and our 6th<\/sup>,\u00a0 7th<\/sup>, and 8th<\/sup> grade track teams. During County Week, we always celebrate with Spirit Week.\u00a0 We hope all of our Scotties will join the fun, every day.\u00a0 Monday is \u00a0Pajama Day.\u00a0 So, when you check in for your Google meets tomorrow, remember to wear your favorite pajamas.\u00a0 Tuesday is Crazy Hair Day.\u00a0 Show us your craziest hair styles.\u00a0 Wednesday is School Spirit Day.\u00a0 Show your school pride by wearing our school colors: orange, black and white.\u00a0 Thursday is college day or sports day.\u00a0 Show off your favorite college or sports team, by wearing a jersey, hoodie or hat.\u00a0 Friday is hat day.\u00a0 Wear your favorite and\/or craziest hat.<\/p>\n Interested in being on the cheer leading team?\u00a0 Cheer leader tryouts, for those who are not<\/strong> on the track or tennis team will be Monday and Tuesday3:30 to 5:30.\u00a0 The cheer leading workshop will be Monday.\u00a0 And tryouts will be Tuesday.\u00a0 Again, this is for those who are not on the tennis or track teams.\u00a0 For those Scotties who are on the tennis and track teams, and you want to try out for the cheerleading team, we will have a special tryouts for you on May 19th<\/sup>. \u00a0We will hold both the workshop and the tryouts for you, on that date.<\/p>\n Our 6th<\/sup>, 7th<\/sup> and 8th<\/sup> grade track teams have been working hard and they are ready to compete.\u00a0 The County Track Meet will be held Wednesday at Terre Haute South High School at 4:30.<\/p>\n Our girl\u2019s tennis team will be matching their skills on Thursday.\u00a0 Let\u2019s cheer them on to victory in the County Tennis Match at Terre Haute South.
