This is your principal, Scotia Brown, with your Scottie Burst for the week of February 28th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Recently, your Scottie took an assessment called ClearSight.\u00a0 The purpose of this assessments is to provide feedback to teachers.\u00a0 ClearSight assesses how much of standards your student has mastered at various interms.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0It is natural for scores to be “lower” at this time, because we are only halfway through the school year.\u00a0 If you would like to see how your Scottie performed on Clear Sight, his\/her Student Report is now available through Skyward Family Access and students.\u00a0 Log in their account to view the January 2021 ClearSight Individual Student Report under Portfolio\u200b.<\/p>\n

Our Scotties did a great job on their Science Fair projects!\u00a0 We could see that much time and effort was put into them.\u00a0 Congratulations our winners, who will be going to represent Sarah Scott at the state level!<\/p>\n

Thursday, our 6th<\/sup>\/7th<\/sup> grade girls basketball teams will be on the road for their game against Honey Creek Middle School.\u00a0 Games begin, as always at 5:00.<\/p>\n

One more important announcement.\u00a0 Beginning Tuesday, all Scotties will return to school four days a week.\u00a0 Monday will remain a remote day.\u00a0 Scotties are to be in-person Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.\u00a0 We will be practicing safe distancing and hand sanitizing.\u00a0 All students are required to mask. We are so excited to have our Scotties back in the building four days a week.\u00a0 We believe being back with us will allow them to get the personal, social and academic support they need.\u00a0 We love them and we want them here!<\/p>\n
