Family, as we begin our Christmas break, we want to make sure you, the Sarah Scott family are ok. \u00a0Sarah Scott, in partnership with Catholic Charities, will have our food distribution from 9 to 10, tomorrow \u00a0The food distribution is open to everyone. \u00a0Please share this information with your family and friends, who might need a food box.<\/p>\n
We don\u2019t have any basketball games scheduled for this week. \u00a0However, we will be hosting a basketball camp for all of our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys\u2019 and girls\u2019 basketball players, this Saturday. \u00a0Sarah Scott Is excited to have Rushia Brown, former WNBA basketball player to lead s basketball camp for us. \u00a0Rushia Brown played professionally with the Cleveland Rockers and the Charlotte Sting. \u00a0She also played in the European League. \u00a0She will be sharing her basketball knowledge with our Scotties and we are excited to have her. \u00a0All athletes must have a physical form on file.<\/p>\n
Basketball tryouts for the girl\u2019s 6th and 7th grade teams will begin this Saturday from 11:30 to 1:30, at Sarah Scott. \u00a0Remember that in order to try-out, athletes must have a completed physical form on file.<\/p>\n
Tuesday, Sarah Scott\u2019s band and orchestra would like for you to join us for a Christmas Concert at 5:30. \u00a0Band and orchestra members are asked to be at Sarah Scott at 5:00.<\/p>\n
Join us this Wednesday at 6:30 for Sarah Scott\u2019s Holiday Choir musical. \u00a0Choir members need to report to the choir room at 6:00.<\/p>\n
If you would like to take Christmas Family pictures, our Parent Boosters will have a Christmas photo station. \u00a0They will be taking Christmas family pictures 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the concerts on Tuesday and Wednesday. \u00a0There Is not charge for the pictures. \u00a0Our Parent Boosters simply wanted to help our Sarah Scott familied enjoy the holidays.<\/p>\n
We had so much fun with Spirit Week that we are continuing with it.
\nMonday is Pajama Day\u2026school appropriate, of course. \u00a0Tuesday is Grinch Day.
\nWednesday is Hat, Headband and Hair Day.
\nThursday is Red and Green Day and Christmas Sock Day.
\nWe wrap the week up on Friday with Ugly Christmas Sweater Day.<\/p>\n
Parents, remind your Scottie to plug in and charge their Chromebook, every evening. \u00a0Scotties can\u2019t complete their classwork, if their Chromebooks are dead. Please help us by reminding them to get in the habit of plugging in their Chromebooks every evening. \u00a0We appreciate your support.<\/p>\n
