This is your principal, Scotia Brown, with your Scottie Burst for the week of November 20th<\/sup>.\u00a0 We only have school Monday and Tuesday of this week, but they are filled with activities, so lets\u2019 get started.<\/p>\n

We have a special reward for all of our Scotties who completed 60 ALEKS topics, by last Friday.\u00a0 On Tuesday, we have rented out the AMC theater and we will be going, by school bus, to see Black Panther 2!\u00a0 Those Scotties who competed 90 ALEKS will receive a Snack pack.\u00a0 We are excited to celebrate our Scotties for their hard work! If your Scottie received a permission slip, make sure it is returned to the school.<\/p>\n

Parents, mid-term grades will be posted on Tuesday.\u00a0 Please review your Scotties grades with them.\u00a0 Some of our Scotties are doing an amazing job of completing their work and turning in quality assignments.\u00a0 Some of our Scotties need your encouragement to remind them of how important their education is.\u00a0 Please check out those grades.<\/p>\n

Catholic Charities will be accepting names for their Christmas Store beginning November 24th<\/sup>-November 28th<\/sup>\u00a0from 9am-12pm and 1pm-3pm.\u00a0 For more information, contact Danielle Elkins at 812-232-4378,\u00a0 choose option 1.<\/p>\n

Parents mark your calendars for November 30th\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup>at 6:00, when we want you to join us to for our Parent Booster meeting.\u00a0 Parents, we need your input, your support and for you to team with us for the success of your students.\u00a0 And one way to make that happen is to join the Parent Boosters. The meeting will last one hour.\u00a0 We will meet in the cafeteria.\u00a0 Please join us.<\/p>\n

Our 8th<\/sup>\u00a0grader\u2019s Snowball Dance will be held at Sarah Scott on December 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0from 7:00 to 9:00.\u00a0 This is a special event, just for our 8th<\/sup>\u00a0grade Scotties which will be filled with fun and winter wonder!.\u00a0 The tickets are now for $10.00 and can be purchased in the main office.<\/p>\n
