Have a safe and restful Thanksgiving!
The week following Thanksgiving Break, we will be studying:
Math: Students will learn to add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators.
Social Studies: Students will learn about what caused the conflict between Great Britain, France, and Native Americans.
Language Arts: Ask and Answer Questions, Problem and Solution, Main Idea and Key Details
Story: “Winter’s Tail”
Genre: Expository Text
Grammar: Main and Helping Verbs (test on Thursday)
Vocabulary: The vocabulary test will be on Friday. The students need to know the definitions of the following words: artificial, collaborate, dedicated, flexible, function, mimic, obstacle, techniques.
