Mrs. Mangin’s Minutes of the Week

October 3, 2025

*The Riley Fall Festival is on October 17!  The 5th grade classes are putting together a basket for the Basket Raffle that night.  The theme of our basket this year is GAMES.  Please help us fill our basket with anything related to GAMES! It could be a piece of sporting equipment, a card game, or a board game.  We are asking for the donations for our basket to be turned in by October 14.

*Parent Teacher Conferences will be held the week of October 20 – October 24.  You should have received an email from SignUp Genius with the available time slots for you to schedule a conference.  If you did not receive that email, click on this link:

If none of the dates or times work for you, please send me an email and I will work with you to find a time that is convenient for you.

*If you are interested in volunteering with PTO, the following opportunities are available:  Fall Festival, Candle Fundraiser, and Holiday Riley Store.  Let me know if you need more information!

Home > Beth Mangin’s Website > About Mrs. Mangin

Hello! Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Beth Mangin and I teach 5th grade at Riley Elementary.  I have been in various classrooms in the Vigo County School system for the last 20 years. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana State University and my teaching licensure through St. Mary-of-the-Woods. I feel fortunate to be able to work with such wonderful students and staff at Riley Elementary.

I have lived in Terre Haute for about 35 years. I am married and have two kids who make me proud to be their mom.  My son graduated from ISU and is employed in Illinois.  He is married and lives on the north side of Terre Haute.  My daughter graduated from Indiana University.  She works and lives in Bloomington.  I also have one very special grandson! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and being outside.

I look forward to seeing and working with my students each day!
