All About Me
Hello! I’m Nicki Hobson, and I am the first grade reading co-teacher. I mostly work with small groups within the first grade classrooms to support, reteach, or enrich the classroom teacher’s instruction.
I am from Terre Haute and even went to Riley for my elementary years. I attended Indiana University and Indiana State University. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from ISU. In May of 2023, I completed my Master’s in Special Education. I have taught first grade at Dixie Bee, fifth grade at Terre Town, and am now back at Riley as a teacher!
I love spending time with my family. My husband, Tony, is in the IN Air National Guard. My daughter, Lila, is a very active junior at Terre Haute South. My son, Owen, is 6 and a Kindergartner here at Riley!
