I went to Sugar Grove Elementary, Woodrow Wilson and Terre Haute South Vigo High School. For college, I attended Indiana University where I obtained my BA in journalism and a second concentration in political science. I obtained my teaching license from Indiana State University. I have been teaching for 12 years and all of those years have been at Otter Creek. At Otter Creek, I am the yearbook sponsor, newspaper sponsor and coach our English Academic Super Bowl team. I have been married 12 years to my husband, Nathan. We have three wonderful children, Camden (13), Bryce (7) and Trey (5). In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, listening to music and learning how to play the guitar.
