Meet Mrs. Thomson
My name is Wesley Thomson. I am very happy to be a Pioneer! I have a son in 2nd grade and a daughter in kindergarten right here at Hoosier Prairie. This isn’t my first year teaching, but for the last several years I have been a stay-at-home mom taking care of my children. I am a graduate of Indiana State University. I have a dual degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. Teaching has just been something that I knew I’d always do. I am happiest when working with children. I love to witness the pride of a child mastering a new skill or the spark of discovering new concepts. I really enjoy books and listening to podcasts in my free time. In the summer, you will mostly find me working in our garden. My husband and I love grilling out for dinner and then taking the kids and our pup, Ruby, on a buggy ride around the neighborhood.
