** Classroom rosters for the 2024-2025 school year are being developed. We will be using the same process for teacher requests this year. If you have a teacher preference for your child, a request form can be picked up at the front office. These must be completed and returned by Wednesday, April 10th. Only requests on this required form will be considered.  Please remember that these are only requests and sometimes cannot be honored.

**Please remember that the VCSC policy allows for students to have cell phones at school, but requires that the phone remains in their backpack and turned OFF.  Many students have not been following this policy and instruction has been interrupted. It is Fuqua’s policy that students will be given a warning with the first offense but any following problems will result in the phone being removed from the student and the parent contacted to pick it up at the office.

** As the weather begins to get warmer, please review Fuqua’s Student Dress Code. Shorts should be at least “finger-tip length.” No tank tops, shirts with spaghetti straps, or shirts in which the midriff is visible should be worn. Also, for safety reasons, students are not allowed to wear “flip-flop” shoes. Sandals with straps are permitted.

***Please remember if you have a child that turns 5 years of age on or before August 1st 2024, please enroll them for Kindergarten as soon as possible so that we may include them in our Kindergarten Orientation!
