About Mrs. Smith
Welcome! My name is Meghan Smith and I teach at Fuqua Elementary School. I was born and raised in Terre Haute, IN. I attended St. Patrick’s Elementary and Middle School. Then I attended Terre Haute North. I went to Indiana State University and majored in Elementary Education with a minor in reading. My first year at Fuqua I taught 3rd grade and then 1st grade. For the last few years, I have taught 2nd grade. 2nd grade has been my all-time favorite grade to teach! I am passionate about teaching and I cannot wait to get to know my new group of students! Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and friends, watching movies, and playing with my miniature goldendoodle, Lilly. I am looking forward to teaching 2nd grade this school year!
