I was born in Illinois and moved to Terre Haute in the 8th grade.  I attended Indiana State University and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education.

This is my eleventh year of teaching.  Through my years I have been a media specialist and taught both second grade and fourth grade.

My husband, Bob, and I have been married for twenty years now.  We have two teenagers who attend Terre Haute North High School.  We also have two Puggles, a cat, and a bird that is thirty-two years old.  In my free time I like to read, garden, travel, go on bike rides, and make delicious desserts for my family!

I am so excited to welcome students into the library each week. I look forward to helping them find their “just right” book.
