Hello! I am a Reading Recovery/Title 1 teacher for Benjamin Franklin Elementary.  I have been a Reading Recovery specialist for 15 plus years.  Reading Recovery is a research-based, short-term reading intervention of one to one teaching for the lowest achieving first graders.  I love working with children and seeing them grow as readers as well as life-long learners!  As our past American president John F. Kennedy once remarked, “Children are the world’s most valuable resource and its best hope for the future.”
